Success at Spelthorne & Runnymede Festival

Performances of Almost Nothing and A + E at Spelthorne Festival were praised by adjudicator Jan Palmer-Sayer following their performances during the competition.

At the awards ceremony on the final Saturday, Almost Nothing came away with the Runners Up cup together with the Stage Presentation Award. Personal awards were also given to Caroline Ross as Best Actress and to Jill Coles for Best Supporting Player, repeating her success at Woking Festival the week before.

There were also three nominations - for Troy Chessman for Best Actor, to Troy and Caroline for joint Best Director and for the Technical Merit award.

For A + E Maxfield Usher won the Most Promising Youth Player, again repeating his success at Woking Festival. The adjudicator praised the quality of the youth entries in the festival, stating there was only one point between the top two.
