Agnes of God
by John Pielmeier
Agnes of God had 2 performances almost 36 years ago (between the 4th of October 1988 and the 20th of October 1988) at Staines Town Hall and Rhoda McGaw Theatre
AGNES OF GOD is the powerful drama of a young nun accused of killing her own baby. Also involved in the triangular situation are a psychiatrist and the Mother Superior.
We presented a shortened version of the play at festivals in 1998. At Woking it won an unprecedented seven awards (for details see awards).
The production then moved on to Spelthorne Festival where it picked up three further trophies. (for details see awards)
Agnes of God remains one of our greatest festival successes.
